About the company

NESSTEAMS builds dedicated teams in Panama City for U.S. companies. For this role, you’ll join a growing in-home care agency in the United States that provides non-medical care for seniors and people with disabilities: help with daily living, companionship, dementia care, and respite for families. Many of their clients use Medicaid. Their philosophy is simple: treat employees and clients like family. They’re growing fast and adding a second person to their intake team.

The role

You’ll be the first voice families hear when they need care for a loved one. You’ll guide each case from the first call until care starts, following up with families and insurance over 60 to 90 days until every case moves forward.

Non negotiables

• Fluent English with a clear, easy to understand phone voice
• Available to work full time, on site, at our Panama City office, on U.S. business hours
• Total discretion with private health information

Must have

• Experience in customer service, intake, call center, or healthcare administration
• Comfortable on the phone all day, including calls with stressed families
• Persistence: you follow up until a case moves, without being reminded
• Strong organization in Google Sheets or similar tools to track many open cases
• Ability to see the full picture of a case, not just follow a checklist

Nice to have

• Experience with Medicaid or U.S. health insurance processes
• Background in home care, senior care, or U.S. healthcare
• Familiarity with HIPAA
• Experience with a CRM or case management system

This role is not for you if

• You’re looking for remote or work from home
• You prefer short tasks over following a case for weeks
• You’re not comfortable making many calls a day
