- Design and lead the migration strategy from AWS to Canonical Open Cloud-based platforms.
- Define migration approaches according to business needs, including Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, and Modernization.
- Develop transition plans that minimize operational risks and ensure service continuity.
- Coordinate infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams throughout the migration process.
- Design enterprise cloud architectures aligned with corporate standards.
- Build and define corporate Landing Zones.
- Establish standards for networking, security, observability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms.
- Migrate workloads currently running on EKS, ECS, Docker, and managed Kubernetes environments.
- Automate deployments using Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure reproducible and version-controlled environments.
- Implement security controls, identity management, network segmentation, and auditing capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards and security best practices.
- Perform performance analysis and resource optimization activities.
- Implement FinOps capabilities to maximize cost efficiency.
- Ensure SLA compliance and service continuity throughout the migration and operational lifecycle.
- Proven experience leading cloud migration and enterprise infrastructure modernization projects.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route53, EC2, EKS, ECS, Load Balancers, IAM, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and Systems Manager.
- Strong knowledge of Canonical Open Cloud and OpenStack.
- Experience implementing and managing Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Juju, MAAS, Charmed Kubernetes, Ceph, and Ubuntu Server.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Advanced Linux administration skills, particularly with Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
- Experience implementing observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technology transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience migrating mission-critical business applications.
- Participation in large-scale digital transformation and cloud modernization programs.
- Experience implementing DevOps and GitOps practices.
- Knowledge of FinOps methodologies and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience designing and operating high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
- Experience working in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
