More About The Role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a SAP Project Manager, in Panama City, Panama, with Signify, the world leader in lighting.

Signify is currently designing, building, and deploying global SAP ECC, S/4HANA and connected system solutions. To drive and lead these initiatives we are seeking an SAP Project Manager specialized in Supply Chain projects in a discrete manufacturing environment. The SAP Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, effectively managing scope, timelines, resources, budget, and quality. Key responsibilities include resource forecasting and planning, project governance, stakeholder management, risk and dependency mitigation; all executed in close collaboration with business, IT, and implementation partners.

• Lead SAP SC project delivery: Drive end-to-end project delivery focusing on Supply Chain and Operations modules (e.g., SAP SD, IBP, PP/DS, MM, WM, EWM, TM) from blueprint to hypercare.
• Financial & Budgetary Control: Own project financials, tracking budgets of up to 5 million euros, resource costs, vendor spend, and accurate financial forecasting.
• Resource & Partner Orchestration: Plan and manage project resource capacity across internal teams, specialized SAP functional/technical streams, and System Integrators, ensuring external deliverables strictly align with the global template and contractual commitments.
• Governance, Stakeholders & Risk Management: Establish structured project governance and lead steering committees to drive transparent alignment on scope, timelines, and strategic outcomes, ensuring clear ownership, proactive RAID mitigation, and effective decision-making across Business and IT leadership.
• Global Template Compliance & Deployment Readiness: Deliver initiatives in strict alignment with global guidelines and core templates, consistently maintaining reporting standards to successfully navigate international approval steps, while driving cross-stream readiness for testing, cutover, and operational transition to ensure a successful go-live.
  
  

More about you

This role operates within a global team environment, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure structured, transparent, and effective project execution focused on driving successful business outcomes.

• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Project Management) are highly advantageous.
• SAP SC Delivery Track Record: Extensive track record as an IT/SAP Project Manager leading end-to-end SAP SC implementation, rollout, or migration projects within global environments; experience managing projects of up to one million euros is expected.
• Methodologies & Soft Skills: Strong grasp of modern project delivery methodologies (Agile/Scrum, hybrid, and traditional Waterfall), backed by excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is highly advantageous.
