This role is responsible for leading Cochlear LATAM's social media execution through content creation, campaign localization, community management, and visual storytelling. Working closely with global and regional marketing teams, the role ensures the successful implementation of global campaigns across LATAM while creating locally relevant content that reflects regional priorities, cultural nuances, and audience needs. The position also oversees the strategic management of Cochlear's social media agency in Brazil, ensuring high-quality execution, brand consistency, and meaningful audience engagement across the region.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, or related fields.
- Experience developing and executing content across multiple social media platforms.
- Proven copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and channels.
- Experience creating visual assets using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar.
- Experience using social media management and publishing platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Understanding of content localization and cultural nuances across Latin America.
- Strong knowledge of current digital trends, social media platforms, and emerging content formats.
- Experience coordinating with external agencies and managing creative deliverables across multiple markets.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Digital Media, Advertising, or a related field.
Ideal
- Additional training or certifications in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Content Marketing, Graphic Design, or related disciplines.
- Certifications in platforms or tools such as Meta, Google, HubSpot, Adobe, Canva, or similar.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation, Copywriting & Editorial Planning
- Create and manage the social media editorial calendar across LATAM channels.
- Develop engaging, localized copy aligned with campaign messaging and brand guidelines.
- Design basic visual assets, including static posts, content adaptations, and simple animations.
- Adapt global content and campaigns for LATAM audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and clarity.
- Create original content for local initiatives, awareness days, celebrations, product launches, and regional marketing priorities.
- Collaborate with regional marketing teams to identify communication opportunities and develop content from concept to publication.
- Collaborate with agencies and creative partners on more complex content development.
- Ensure consistency across channels and alignment with omnichannel marketing strategies.
- Maintain organization and visibility of planned and published content.
Campaign Execution & Channel Management
- Execute the social media components of integrated marketing campaigns across LATAM.
- Coordinate the implementation of global campaigns, ensuring timely execution and regional relevance.
- Coordinate content publishing across platforms, ensuring proper timing, format, and audience targeting.
- Support alignment between organic and paid social media initiatives.
- Optimize content formats and messaging according to platform best practices.
- Contribute to campaign execution that maximizes reach, engagement, and overall impact.
- Oversee Cochlear LATAM's presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms as digital trends evolve.
Community Management & Social Media Governance
- Manage day-to-day interactions across Cochlear LATAM social media platforms.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, empathetic, and brand-aligned manner.
- Monitor online conversations, audience sentiment, and potential reputational risks, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen audience trust and engagement through consistent and responsive community management.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Manage the relationship with Cochlear's social media agency in Brazil, providing strategic direction, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring alignment with regional objectives and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure campaigns are successfully localized and executed across LATAM.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to support regional communication priorities.
Performance Monitoring & Insights
- Track and analyze key social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, audience growth, and sentiment.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and insights to improve content effectiveness.
- Develop and deliver performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Support continuous optimization of content, publishing schedules, and engagement strategies.
Social Trends & Innovation
- Stay current on emerging social media trends, platform updates, audience behaviors, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new formats, features, and content styles.
- Evaluate the relevance of new social media channels and digital opportunities for Cochlear LATAM audiences.
- Support the launch of new digital initiatives aligned with regional strategic priorities.
