Robotics Software Engineer at BairesDev

As a Robotics Software Engineer, you will develop and optimize the software that powers autonomous systems. You will focus on the intersection of real-time systems and physical motion, ensuring that robotic platforms operate with precision and reliability in complex environments.

What You'll Do

• Create and refine software modules to integrate sensors, actuators, and hardware controllers into a cohesive robotic platform.
• Design and implement navigation and motion planning algorithms to manage complex physical movements.
• Develop real-time perception pipelines to process environmental data and detect obstacles accurately.
• Utilize simulation tools to test and validate robotic behaviors and software performance before deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex distributed systems and robotics-specific software issues.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on robotics or autonomous systems.
• Proven expertise in developing and optimizing robotic software using C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS2 for navigation, perception, and motion planning.
• Proficiency in using simulation tools such as Gazebo or NVIDIA Isaac Sim for robotic system testing.
• Strong understanding of real-time systems, kinematics, and perception pipelines.
