Storage Engineer at BairesDev

As a Storage Engineer, you will specialize in architecting and maintaining distributed storage systems to ensure data availability and performance at scale. You will act as a key link between low-level systems programming and high-performance infrastructure, optimizing how massive datasets are stored and accessed.

What You'll Do

• Design and deploy scalable distributed storage solutions such as Ceph, MinIO, or S3-compatible systems.
• Develop and optimize storage layers using systems-level languages like C/C++, Go, or Rust.
• Implement robust data replication and consistency models to guarantee system durability.
• Manage the lifecycle of distributed file systems and object stores in high-throughput environments.
• Architect block storage configurations to meet the demands of large-scale production workloads.
• Monitor and tune storage performance to minimize latency and maximize resource efficiency.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Storage Engineering, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing distributed storage systems like Ceph, MinIO, or S3-compatible solutions.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Go, or Rust for systems-level development and optimization.
• Deep understanding of durability and consistency models, replication, and block storage at scale.
• Hands-on experience with distributed file systems and object stores in high-performance environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
