Technical Coordinator - Reinsurance Sector

A company in the Reinsurance sector, located in Panama City, is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join its team. Previous experience within the insurance/reinsurance industry is required.
This is a 100% on-site role, based in the Banking District, Bella Vista area.


Position Objective:
Ensure the proper management and performance of underwriting, issuance, and administration processes related to property insurance, reinsurance, and automobile lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage risks and claims processes.
Analyze accounting documents and financial statements, assessing profitability and risk exposure.
Handle underwriting, processing, and quotations for bonds and endorsements.
Manage budgets and technical reporting.
Analyze and evaluate bond claims.
Develop technical strategies for the insurance sector, with a special focus on bonds and compliance.
Support conflict resolution and negotiations with clients and providers.
Plan and monitor technical projects, ensuring efficient and timely execution.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Insurance, Surety/Bonds, or related fields.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar positions within insurance/reinsurance operations, including policy issuance, premiums, underwriting, claims, and insurance software management.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
Availability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
