Job Title: People Operations Specialist Location: Panama City, Panama (In-Office) Type of Contract: Full-Time Salary Range: USD $1,200/month Language Requirements: Spanish (Required), Professional English (Preferred) We are seeking a skilled People Operations Specialist with experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, and employee lifecycle management to join our growing team.
You will play a key role in coordinating hiring, onboarding, employee documentation, training, and people operations across multiple locations.
Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, employee experience, and the successful execution of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and hiring documentation.
Manage end-to-end onboarding processes, ensuring new hires receive the necessary equipment, system access, documentation, and orientation before their start date.
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, onboarding files, training documentation, and HR trackers using Google Workspace.
Coordinate employee training programs, monitor completion, and prepare reports for managers on training progress and compliance.
Track performance review schedules, probation periods, KPI documentation, and ensure timely follow-up with managers.
Administer vacation requests, benefits enrollment, employee records, and other HR administrative processes across multiple locations.
Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, company events, and office coordination activities while ensuring timely reporting and follow-through.
Must-Have Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, Recruitment Coordination, or a similar administrative role.
Experience coordinating hiring, onboarding, employee documentation, training, benefits, and performance review processes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential information.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
Professional English communication skills preferred for collaboration with international teams.
Ability to work independently, proactively follow up with stakeholders, and maintain accurate documentation across multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting HR operations across multiple countries or regional teams.
Familiarity with HR reporting, KPI tracking, and employee lifecycle management.
Experience coordinating office operations, vendors, or employee engagement initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to improve administrative processes and maintain accountability across departments.
