Job Description

Drive integrity, quality, and governance of master and transactional data across Philips' enterprise systems, partnering with commercial business and IT stakeholders to enable data-driven transformation.

Your role:

  • Contributes to the end-to-end operation of smaller data domains or collaborates with others in overseeing larger data domains within a single process or system.
  • Handles personal contributions to data design within individual projects, ensuring effective self-management and development.
  • Supports platform transformational programs by performing data migrations and mappings and collaborates with technical teams for pre-load and post-load validations.
  • Administers data or related IT systems across multiple domains within Philips, including customer, vendor, product, finance, HR, compliance, consumer, and people.
  • Maintains logical and physical data models for both master data and transactional data, implements data quality and compliance controls, and validates data model designs with Business Process Owners/Business Process Experts (BPO/BPE) and compliance officers.
  • Implements data models in close collaboration with IT Business Analysts (IT-BAs), manages change processes associated with data models, and adheres to standards, templates, and tools specified in Information & Data Management.
  • Documents business and compliance needs in the Data Requirements Specification (DRS), specifying migration scope, rules, value mappings, and required post-migration data quality levels.
  • Supports Data Migration Experts (DMEs), assists in the construction of data migration tools, prepares pre- and post-load files with business representatives, and resolves and implements routine data defects by conducting root cause analyses.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 4+ years of experience in Database Administration, Data Quality Management, Data Management, Data Modeling, Data Analytics, Software Development, or Business Intelligence (5+ years with relevant business processes or IT systems aligned to the data domain is preferred).
  • Your skills include Data Management, Data Modeling, Data Designing, Data Quality Assurance, Data Migrations, Data Harmonization & Processing, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Requirements Gathering, and Regulatory Compliance , with strong business acumen.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in information management , Data Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent .
  • You're a collaborative professional who partners effectively with IT Business Analysts, Business Process Owners, compliance officers, and Data Migration Experts to deliver business outcomes.
