The ERA Requests Coordinator manages Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) enrollments and retrievals with insurance carriers and clearinghouses.
This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure requests are completed accurately and on time.
The coordinator works closely with insurance companies, clients, clearinghouses, and internal teams to support ERA setup and ongoing processing.
Submit and manage ERA enrollment requests with insurance carriers and clearinghouses .
Retrieve ERA-related documentation from insurance portals and clearinghouse systems.
Complete administrative tasks related to ERA setup, enrollment, and processing.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and status updates for all ERA requests.
Contact clients to obtain the permissions, signatures, and authorizations required for processing.
Follow up with insurance companies and clearinghouses on pending requests and enrollment statuses.
Track outstanding requests and proactively resolve incomplete or delayed enrollments.
Communicate updates, issues, and request statuses clearly to internal teams.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and insurance enrollment requirements.
Assist clients with navigating insurance and clearinghouse portals to complete required actions on their end (future responsibility).
