Site Realiability Engineer ( SRE)

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our global Technology Operations team.
The SRE creates and implements scalable solutions to meet system and application performance goals, implements monitoring, responds to incidents, and drives reliability engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement monitoring solutions to track system health, performance, and availability; proactively identify issues before customer impact.
• Respond to production incidents promptly, minimizing downtime and mitigating business impact.
• Drive continuous improvement through blameless post-mortems, retrospectives, and reliability initiatives.
• Implement comprehensive service monitoring including dashboards, metrics, alerts, and synthetic checks.
• Define, measure, and meet SLOs and SLIs including uptime, performance, and chronic problem reduction.
• Automate repetitive tasks and operational processes to reduce manual toil.
• Collaborate with development and platform teams on performance optimization and capacity planning.
• Contribute to architectural reviews and design discussions for new platform features.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor\'s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience managing distributed systems at scale.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, New Relic, Datadog, or equivalent.
• Strong English communication skills
Preferred
• Background in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering with strong Linux focus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern observability practices (eBPF, distributed tracing).
• Experience with distributed storage and message brokers (Amazon S3, Azure Blob, RabbitMQ, Redis).
• Exposure to high-traffic transactional platforms or sportsbook/gaming environments.
• Experience implementing chaos engineering or game-day exercises.
