Lead and oversee all financial accounting and internal reporting activities with a strong focus on optimizing processes to ensure operational excellence and alignment with organizational goals. Establish solid business partnerships across all levels and provide strategic financial and analytical support. Proactively manage accounting risks and ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and tax requirements.

Lead and oversee all financial accounting and internal reporting activities with a strong focus on optimizing processes to ensure operational excellence and alignment with organizational goals. Establish solid business partnerships across all levels and provide strategic financial and analytical support. Proactively manage accounting risks and ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and tax requirements.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to staff analysts, accountants, supervisors, and managers, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Lead comprehensive financial statement analysis, including monthly P&L reports with detailed variance explanations versus prior periods and budget/forecast.
- Oversee the fixed asset portfolio, including telecom towers and infrastructure, ensuring accurate tracking, valuation, and lifecycle management.
- Enhance monthly GL account reconciliations and close processes, ensuring alignment with US GAAP and local books.
- Guide accounting processes during M&As, ensuring compliance and seamless financial transitions.
- Drive ERP system improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Lead quarterly reviews, year-end audits, and external audit engagements, including preparation of analytics and managing Gap Bridge meetings with corporate.
- Streamline internal reporting and financial close processes.
- Ensure full compliance with SBA policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Manage multiple complex projects, fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
- Oversee internal reporting functions, including consolidations, financial statements, and monthly packages.
- Manage equity and non-cash compensation accounting.
- Provide high-level guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting growth and alignment with company goals.
- Foster a performance-driven culture emphasizing accountability, ownership, and continuous feedback.
- Champion the company’s mission, vision, and values in daily operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations (corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, etc.) across multiple entities.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and local authorities to ensure timely tax filings and payments.
- Develop and implement regional tax planning strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce risk.
- Coordinate annual statutory audits and ensure timely submission of audited financials.
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors, tax authorities, and regulators.
- Stay current on changes in tax legislation and assess operational impacts.
- Analyze tax assessments and ensure compliance for all commercial properties.
- Research and document complex direct and indirect tax issues.
- Collaborate with Legal on property tax matters.
- Work with IT and Accounting to maintain the integrity of the property tax database.
- Participate in tax planning and miscellaneous tax-related projects.
- Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing team members.
- Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
- Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
- Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision and values.
- Lead team members using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
- Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant leadership exposure; public company experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced/Fluent English required.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and job costing; experience with Hyperion HFM and Microsoft Business Central is desirable.
- Certified Public Accountant (CRC) credential required.
