Ingeniero Principal

Main Purpose

Core engineer leads delivery of projects related to Packet Core Mobile Networks according to the organization requirements design, engineering and deployment. Besides, the Engineer Performs platform KPI monitoring in order to guarantee healthy usage of the total capacity for specific solutions of CORE Network as well as checking Platform lifecycle management.

Responsabilities

  • Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules that meet them.
  • Topology management & network documentation.
  • Monitoring and tracking project progress and writing up reports.
  • Attending and scheduling meetings as required.
  • Understanding and meeting all requirements of the project
  • Analyzing technical requirements.
  • Develop full-scale project plans.
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues.
  • Capacity Planning “monitoring the capacity and scaling capabilities”
  • New ICX , B2C, B2B Other tech areas Initiatives analysis, design.
  • Test Bed administration.

Requirements

  • Strong Project management skills.
  • Solid technical understanding of mobile network engineering and technologies, especially in Core and VAS platforms architecture, 4G/IMS/VoLTE (Desirable), Network Signaling and Traffic Communication Protocols and 3GPP Standard Interfaces, Security Protocols and Best Practices, Telco Cloud, Platform Virtualization and IP Fabric (Desirable).
  • Excellent level of Business understanding.
  • Knowledge and experience of Standard Service Support and Service Delivery technical Processes.
  • Knowledge of basic processes (Time to Market, Incident and Problem Management and Change Management).
