What Impact You Can Create At Chanel
- Support the organization and logistics for Press and Fashion Boutique Events under supervision of the Fashion PR Manager
- Keep the inventory, organization, and loans of the Panama Press Rack.
- Main contact for the Fashion and Watches & FJ shopping requests and responsible for the follow up with the stylists and the team from the international press showrooms in New York and Paris.
- Upload Fashion, Watches & FJ, Corporate and VIP clippings in the platform and work on Fashion reports for Paris twice a month.
- Send press releases and press material to regional press on a daily and weekly basis, as needed.
- Create and supervise social media campaigns on Lefty
- Collect, format & save clippings from Local Agencies and Edit Link
- Keep track of monthly payments on Basware and revise budget monthly with PR Manager & Finance Dept.
- Handle daily communication with journalists and influencers from 17 countries
- Organize the logistics and accreditation for Fashion shows in Paris and travelling collections with the Fashion PR manager.
- Keep an eye out for new talents (celebrities, press, influencers)
- Support organization of all local events.
- Support Communications VP with Administrative duties (travel itineraries, meetings, etc.) Coordinate Press Rack logistics
- Collect Clippings & Report Visibility to Paris Monthly
- Strong support to the PR manager
- Developing and nurturing relationships with clients, media contacts, influencers, and other stakeholders.
- Coming up with innovative PR strategies, campaigns, and messaging that capture attention and resonate with target audiences.
- Crafting compelling narratives and storytelling that effectively communicates a brand's message, values, and unique selling propositions.
- Engaging with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets to pitch stories, secure media coverage, and build positive relationships.
- Organizing and executing events, such as press conferences, product launches, or promotional events.
- You must be fluent both in English and Spanish (French a plus).
- 2+ years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the luxury business.
- Bachelor’s degree of science in Business Administration, PR, Marketing or related.
- Be able to work with deadlines, strong sense of detail, creative and innovative thinker, excellent communications skills, and strong decision-making skills.
- Understanding of PR and marketing concepts and practices.
- Computer savvy: working knowledge of databases, excel and design software (e.g., Photoshop) is a plus.
- An established press network in the region is a plus.
- Enhance written and verbal communication skills through crafting press releases, pitching stories to journalists, delivering presentations, and engaging with stakeholders across various platforms.
- Learn to think strategically by aligning PR activities with organizational goals, anticipating potential challenges, and proactively planning campaigns to achieve desired outcomes.
- Developing innovative PR campaigns, finding unique angles to pitch stories, and overcoming challenges in media coverage require creative problem-solving skills.
- You will learn about one of the biggest House of Luxury Fashion in the world.
- Collaborating with team members on various projects, managing timelines, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- How to craft compelling stories, tailor messages to different platforms and demographics, and use language strategically to achieve desired outcomes.
