Purpose of the role

The Regional Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the adherence to quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering strong customer relationships within their designated region. This position demands a seasoned professional with established networking capabilities, a customer-centric approach, and a good understanding of quality management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain processes and procedures across region to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts by identifying enhancement areas, analyzing data, and optimizing processes to increase efficiency.
  • Networking and Collaboration: Utilize existing networks and establish connections within the region to exchange best practices, stay updated on trends, and foster collaboration.
  • Customer Focus: Develop strong relationships with regional customers, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Offer guidance to team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices through training and mentorship.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators related to quality and provide regular reports to senior management on initiatives.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements through regular audits, inspections, and assessments.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks related to quality management and develop strategies to minimize their impact on operations and satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to align quality objectives with business goals and drive synergies.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide strong leadership, fostering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the regional quality team.

  • Effective Communication: Clear articulation of quality issues, requirements, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Evaluates data, identifies trends, and makes informed decisions to improve quality processes.
  • Project Management: Plans, executes, and monitors quality projects aligning with organizational goals.
  • Adaptability: Adapts to changing priorities while upholding quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership: Leads cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals amidst competing priorities.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifies root causes, develops innovative solutions, and implements corrective actions.
  • Ethical Conduct: Upholds ethical standards, fostering a culture of trust and accountability in the organization.

Accountable for:

  • Execute the CofE Quality Management strategies
  • Regional QMS compliance
  • CAPA management, including external or customer audits
  • Delivery of quality related training
  • Communicating known risks of poor governance or ineffective quality controls related to quality to respective leadership teams
  • Representing the region as the face of quality
  • ISO certification maintenance
