Senior C# API Backend Developer (.net, C#) Remote (Central / South America) - #7467065

Product Perfect, a software consulting firm based out of Southern California, is looking for a Senior Full Stack C# Developer from Latin America (Central/South America).

As a Senior Engineer you will help develop .NET API code using Visual Studio.NET, C#, Azure, JavaScript, and various Nuget packages. You'll help build, redevelop, polish, and deploy Azure functions and Azure web jobs, as well as the C# API. You need to have a solid background in C#, and have written large and complex SQL Server stored procedures. It would be ideal if you've built numerous other web based APIs or platforms in previous projects/positions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new API standardized calls using C# and .NET web API.
• Help create data access, system, infrastructure, and framework logic in C#.
• Write, audit, and further improve unit tests using xUnit.
• Profile and improve our backend API and infrastructure application logic performance.
• Participate as a team member in fully Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable C# code.
• Work with a global team.

• Deep familiarity with t-SQL, temp tables, advanced joins, while loops, and other complex SQL routines

Requirements:

• Exceptional (English) communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional level of acumen for craftsmanship and workmanship in the discipline of software development.
• 15+ years paid work experience with C# in web or desktop development. (This is a senior level role.)
• 15+ years familiarity with Relational Databases and SQL Server. (This is a senior level role.)
• 4-year college degree, ideally in Computer Science or Engineering, but not required.
• Experience with Web services development (SOAP, REST).
• Strong in Object Oriented Programming, Design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience using Git (repositories, branches, merging, etc).
• Experience building out web API's from scratch.
• Experience designing, optimizing, and enhancing databases with hundreds of tables, foreign/primary keys, indexes, triggers, performance optimization and performance tuning, composite keys, trade-offs between data storage options, data manipulation techniques, etc.
• Experience serializing and deserializing C# objects to/from JSON.
