Job Description:

The Central Energy and Transportation Sales Team is looking for a Sales Representative to support the Aftermarket business with Latin America Cat Dealers, by providing optimized sales coverage for E&T Industries: Electric Power, Industrial and Marine. As a Sales Representative, you will be driving revenue and services growth for these E&T businesses in line with the Cat Dealers and supporting Cat aftermarket initiatives. In addition, you will be joining a group of highly motivated sales representatives on a dynamic team that values simplicity, collaboration, and fun. Become part of the Central Energy and Transportation Sales Team, and directly influence doubling services growth!

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with dealers’ Parts & Service Sales Managers and their PSSR/ISR/Parts Counter organization to influence sales force effectiveness
  • Drive regular sales performance reviews with dealers and ensure implementation of corrective actions where needed
  • Develop local action plans, leveraging data analytics, to attack lost sales
  • Collaborate & influence other internal parties to ensure general customer needs are met for an effective commercial relationship
  • Track opportunity, participation and close rates and report VOC/VOD
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, changing technology and market regulations in territories covered

What You Will Have:

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
  • Previous auditing, compliance, and/or process management experience strongly preferred
  • Pre Advanced English

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
  • Previous experience working with dealers
  • Basic Portuguese

Additional Information:

  • Position requires 25% travel
